Principal Attorney


Scott E. Squillace is the principal and founder of Squillace & Associates, P.C. He has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New York and Washington D.C. and has been admitted to the Bar in Paris, France as an Avocat. Scott is focused on Life & Estate Planning matters for individuals and families. He specializes in planning needs for international clientele, corporate executives and small business owners. Brian C. Olson


Brian C. Olson is a business lawyer with over a decade of experience. As former Vice President of Legal Affairs of a privately-held family company that operated internationally, Brian managed all aspects of that company's legal functions, in the United States and in 30 other countries. At our firm, Brian advises client family businesses in such areas as company formation and maintenance, contracting, and succession planning. Brett J. Barthelmeh


Brett J. Barthelmeh joined the firm as an associate in 2009 and concentrates his practice in estate planning. Previous to joining our team, Brett supported the underwriting department of a financial services company and during law school served both as an estate planning summer associate and a summer judicial clerk. Brett earned his B.S., cum laude, from Boston University and his J.D. from Syracuse University, with certificates in Family Law and Estate Planning. Carol Sneider Glick
Of Counsel

Carol Sneider Glick brings over 25 years of legal practice experience to our team. Carol concentrates her estate planning practice in the areas of gift and transfer tax planning, elder law and Medicaid planning, probate of estates and trust administration. She earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University and has expertise in a wide variety of sophisticated estate planning techniques, including drafting complex trusts for high net worth clients, non-U.S. citizens, and families with special needs. Marina Jáudenes
Of Counsel

 Of Counsel to the Firm, she has over 25 years’ experience in a wide range of domestic and international business, finance and financial services matters.  Marina is admitted to practice in New York and Florida and has practiced as a foreign lawyer in Italy.  Following her recent return to the U.S., Marina has focused on wealth management and investment issues facing foreigners wanting to bring personal and business assets to the U.S., as well as issues facing U.S. residents relocating to Florida from other parts of the country. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.



Maureen T. Golden
Senior Paralegal


Prior to joining the firm in 2014 as the senior paralegal, Maureen worked for a boutique estate planning law firm on the South Shore where she drafted estate plans and administered irrevocable life insurance trusts.  At our firm, Maureen primarily supervises the probate and settlement process and trust funding for clients.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, and a Paralegal Certificate from Northeastern University.  Maureen has a varied background as a paralegal, with more than a decade of experience in real estate conveyancing, closings and title work, a year in corporate law, and more than six years of litigation experience. She lives on the South Shore, and enjoys cooking, knitting, and reading.

Erik W. Boos
Law Clerk



Erik is our law clerk and a full-time student at Suffolk University Law School where he is studying for his Juris Doctor, and a Master of Laws in Taxation. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he interned at the Worcester County District Attorney’s office, and the Worcester Law Library where he developed an aptitude for legal research and writing. Erik is a 10 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and spent three years overseas in Istanbul, Turkey; Santiago, Chile; and Guatemala City, Guatemala. When not in the office or at school, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, motorcycling, golf and trap shooting. Upon graduation in May, 2016, Erik plans on taking the bar exam in Massachusetts .


Joseph Penella
 Joseph has over 30 years’ experience in financial services. Prior to joining  the firm Joe was an Officer of State Street Bank & Trust Company where he spent twenty-six years. Joe is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where he received a BA in Economics.
