Planning Partners

We work closely with allied professionals and organizations who support our work with clients. In some cases we have a formal relationship with these other professionals, while in other cases we are informally supported by colleagues and fellow members of national professional organizations. Both our formal and informal relationships with allied professionals provide tremendous support, resources and services to us and our clients.

Legal Technical Resources

We are members of Wealth Counsel ( www.wealthcounsel.com ), a cutting-edge professional association for estate planning attorneys and allied professionals. It is thisorganizations committment to excellence that assists us to create estate plans that are modern and comprehensive. Sometimes, we co-counsel with colleagues from Wealth Counsel who are national experts in their field, such as our friend Peggy Hoyt, a leading expert on Pet Trusts and author of “All My Children Wear Fur Coats” ( www.legacyforyourpet.com ).

In addition, the firm has close relationships with a number of other boutique law firms that can assist clients in practice areas in which our firm does not practice such as divorce or personal injury matters.  We would be happy to refer you to an attorney who has expertise in one of these other areas of law.

Philanthropic and Charitable Planning Resources

For Philanthropic Planning, we work closely with Tracy Gary from Inspired Philanthropy ( www.inspiredphilanthropy.com ) and Yale Levy from Next Generation Wealth Planning ( www.ngwp.org ), both members of the leading national organization in this field, Advisors in Philanthropy ( www.advisorsinphilanthropy.org ), of which our firm is also a member. Locally, we work closely with The Boston Foundation ( www.tbf.org ), an established community leader in the realm of philanthropy. The firm’s principal, Scott Squillace, is honored to be a current member of The Boston Foundation’s Professional Advisors Committee (www.tbf.org/ProfessionalAdvisor/ )
